What is the difference between a hardcover book vs. a reinforced hardcover book?
Sometimes when I am looking for a book online an online store will have the same book with a format of hardcover and then usually for a little bit more they will have a reinforced hardcover book edition.
What is the difference?
The reinforced hardcover book generally refers to library binding, this binding is designed to withstand alot of use and is generally more expensive than regular hadrcover.
Taking price sticker off a hardcover book?
I just got a brand new hardcover book and I noticed that there was a price tag sticker on it. How do I remove it without damaging the book’s cover?
Note: the cover has a dull finish, if that’s any help.
Also, the sticker isn’t on the jacket, but on the book itself.
Peel the sticker slowly off as best as you can, and scrape off the remaining pieces if there are any. For the glue residue that is left on the cover, you can put rubbing alcohol or baby oil on a cottonball and wipe it off easily (that is, if it has a jacket on the book, if no jacket, then scrape it off as best you can). That’s what I usually use, and so far one or the other, or a combo of the two, has always worked.
