how can i draw the internal threading of nut, the external threading of stud and the spring in AutoCAD?
Im new user of AutoCAD, I wonder how can i draw the internal threading of nut, the external threading of stud and the spring?
this looks like the closest thing that I could find that looks like how my old technical manual shows on drawing threads:

3d springs are easy to do in 2007 there is a helix command that lets you make a 3d helix that you can use for the path of an extrusion
